Offensive Player of the Week

Gianna Paul  Alabama
F • So. Huntington Station, N.Y.

Paul helped the Tide remain undefeated on the season with a 2-0 win over Southern Miss and a tie against No. 3 North Carolina. She scored a goal in both games to lead UA with five goals and 10 points. Paul scored the second goal UA’s win over Southern Miss and recorded the equalizer in the 79th minute against No. 3 North Carolina. Of her five shots this week, three were on target and two were goals. Alabama took 11 shots against North Carolina, the most by an opponent against the Tar Heels all season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Bella Hollenbach  Missouri
GK • RS-So. The Woodlands, Texas

Hollenbach helped the Missouri Tigers to a 2-0 week in net totaling nine saves over two games and one clean sheet. After a penalty kick against border rival Illinois, Hollenbach shut the door on the Illini, propelling the team to a 2-1 win. Following that performance, the redshirt sophomore posted a shutout of Missouri State in St. Louis, making two point-blank saves to earn her first clean sheet of the season and fourth of her career.

Freshman of the Week

Coralie Lallier  Alabama
GK • Fr. St-Hubert, Québec

Lallier helped lead UA to a tie against No. 3 North Carolina, advancing the team’s unbeaten home streak to 24 games. She posted a career-high six saves against the Tar Heels. Alabama was one of three teams to hold UNC to one goal or less in a match.
